Cool guy or what? I mean, if you only had to watch and hear him sing? I give you Avalon etc.

Cool. Love him. Slave to Love. Avalon. More than This. Sigh. Class act.

Gillian1980 · 20/10/2019 14:18

Yes, great guy.
Got his autograph after a gig and he gave me a peck on the cheek. I swooned. He’s old enough to be my dad haha. Incidentally my dad was with me and was laughing at my swooning.

I had a life-sized poster of THIS behind my door from the age of 10 to 15. Formative years for my taste in men. Grin
It gave my granny the fright of her life, though!

I remember being very little and seeing him sing on the telly and thinking his eyes were beautiful. It was the first time I ever noticed a man's eyes. I love More Than This the best ❤️

FrogFairy · 20/10/2019 15:17

He has sung some nice tunes but Phil Oakey doesn’t for me in the cool stakes. And I soooo would....

FrogFairy · 20/10/2019 15:34

Doesn’t = does it obviously!

Schwibble · 20/10/2019 19:33

Love him! The ultimate ladies man Grin Suave, sophisticated, smooth, great music, some of my favourites in fact...don't love his pro hunting stance though or Roxy Music's early album covers with the naked/tied up women on them...

nitgel · 20/10/2019 19:37

Supercool

nitgel · 20/10/2019 19:39

Love watching Roxy music on old grey whistle test reruns whole band were fab superstylish

maddiemookins16mum · 20/10/2019 19:41

Creepy.

HellonHeels · 20/10/2019 19:41

Like the music. Loathe everything else about him - behaviour, politics, misogyny, his unpleasant criminal son etc.

Milkstick · 20/10/2019 19:58

He's just a dad. That's all I see. Except my dad isn't creepy. Also, I saw the name and thought of that song that's just 'Barbara Streisand' and a lot of oooo

longwayoff · 20/10/2019 21:44

Jerry made the right choice and it's difficult to say that about Mick Jagger as a life partner. It was very funny just how quickly she traded up when she spotted MJ.

IcedPurple · 20/10/2019 21:51

Yes, Jerry Hall dumped him in a milisecond when Mick took an interest. Bryan Ferry was definitely hotter than Jagger back in the day, but Jagger was the much bigger star so.....

Isn't Ferry also a massive social climber?

longwayoff · 20/10/2019 21:54

Certainly is. It's squirmy.

Tinkerbell456 · 20/10/2019 21:57

Firstly, he is not responsible for his adult sons actions. Secondly, are foxes kind? Love them, sincerely, but they are no friends of birds, rabbits , small game of any sort. They are just foxes.

My dsis was a bit "avant garde" in the very early 70s, and was dressed( I Think, as an elf), in a pub in her college town. Two blokes came and started chatting up her and her friend. "We're in a band, do you want tickets and to after show party?" They sacked them off and went elsewhere. It was Bryan F and Brian Eno.
