To have a crush on Sam Smith

Sam has been 'criticised' on more than one thread here ('criticised' is putting it politely. However just watching their video 'Dancing with a Stranger' and he's gorgeous - tall, lean with good facial features. 😍 Thought they were gorgeous in the 'Promises' video also . Again, tall, handsome, good physique. ❤️ Also young and successful. What's not to love?

He’s a man with a dick so any woman who exclusively fancies him and other men is not bisexual, end of.

PeterRouseTheFleshofMankind · 19/10/2019 11:18

Yesterday I was googling his friend Alok who's akso been mentioned once or twice on here

This Alok? 'Little girls are kinky' Alok?

He has a few celeb mates.

How he got away with this little essay I don't know.

Incidentally when I googled 'Alok little girls are kinky' to find this, the first thing that came up was a warning from the 'seek help' part of the Stop It Now website. And yet Alok Menon wrote this and is celebrated as someone to admire.

Sam Smith's personality is so unappealing that I couldn't physically fancy him.

Namechanging2019 · 19/10/2019 11:20

@CountFosco

Yeah, pronouns day was unfortunately a thing. See response to the whole farce.....

Is this a joke Grin

BanginChoons · 19/10/2019 11:22

@Namechanging2019

Have you considered how it may feel to a person who is repeatedly referred to by a pronoun they don't identify with? People who have gender dysphoria don't have it because they have a political agenda. They feel intense self loathing about their physical form.
I can't understand why normally compassionate people don't feel compassion towards people who are often hurting so deeply inside.

Wheredidigowrongggggg · 19/10/2019 11:23

Jesus that Alok fellow is nuts. He looks like a biological male and, although there is much to dislike in that missive, the worst is a biological male saying they ‘have been’ that little white girl. No you fucking haven’t.

And they are not cis girls. They are girls. Redefine yourself but don’t you dare redefine me.

violettrose28 · 19/10/2019 11:23

They're a biological male and you're a biological female. If you fancy them, this is a boring old heterosexual urge and not bisexual, pansexual or anything else. The fact that they're (fuck me, it's a pain using plural pronouns but I don't want to get deleted) attracted to biological males might make them a homosexual male too, in a parallel universe.

TreestumpsAndTrampolines · 19/10/2019 11:25

I find that a bad personality can destroy all attraction of a physical body instantly, where as a good personality can make anyone sparkle.

Sam Smith sounds like a egotistical, narcissistic nightmare. Not even slightly attractive.

Charley1988 · 19/10/2019 11:29

Hadn't come across that essay by Alok I've just seen pics of him in 'rather creative' clothing!

Nice try.

kalinkafoxtrot45 · 19/10/2019 11:31

Alas, he is a numpty and keeps questionable company. Rather off-putting.

Namechanging2019 · 19/10/2019 11:39

@BanginChoons

Have you considered how women feel when they are attacked by men but are forced to refer to them as 'she' in court?

Or what about young girls who are approached by men in bathrooms so they can ask them if they need help inserting a tampon?

Or women who are trying to make a living working from home but are taken to court on grounds of a hate crime/discrimination by a delusional man who thinks these women are obliged to wax his balls because he reckons he's female?

Or the lesbian women who are hounded and verbally abused for not being attracted to a female-identifying man (complete with male genitals) and told that their non-consent equates to hate crimes and literal violence?

Or the women concerned about the removal of sex segregated spaces but are told to die in grease fires by TRAs?

Or the women who work their entire lives at a sport, only to have opportunities snatched by cheating men with biological advantages?

Or even vulnerable women in prison (very likely to have been victims of male violence) who are sharing spaces with men who identify as women and are serving time in women's prisons as a result?

They feel intense self loathing about their physical form
Similar to the contempt that a woman may feel for herself after being the victim of coercive control, physical violence, sexual violence etc. all suffered at the hands of men.

My compassion lies with all these women. Not men performing as such.
Sounds harsh but their feelings are last on the list when women are still suffering sex based violence and oppression in a supposedly modern age.

BanginChoons · 19/10/2019 11:47

@Namechanging2019

Do you know any transgender people? At the moment everything in the media is about the criminal people like those you mention above.

Trangender people are not all criminals. Transgender is about how someone views themself.

These people who try to push the male-to-female political agenda are something different.

What are your views on female to male transgender people?

BanginChoons · 19/10/2019 11:51

I totally get the feminist argument by the way. But I don't find it ok that normal trans people living their everyday lives are hounded and vilified for it on a daily basis.

QueenofmyPrinces · 19/10/2019 11:54

This thread is hilarious.

I Iove how OP keeps referring to Sam as “he” and then reposts to correct herself Grin

I guess even his fans know he is a male despite his ludicrousness of late Grin

Also, I love the fact that OP is now bisexual Grin It just proves how silly this whole thing is Grin

Amanduh · 19/10/2019 11:57

Well he looked delightful and handsome at the attitude awards not

SilverySurfer · 19/10/2019 12:00

He, She, They, It is not my cup of tea. I prefer someone a little more up the masculine scale and not so up themselves. But different strokes for different folks and all that.

Terrific post Namechanging2019 totally agree.

Charley1988 · 19/10/2019 12:04

Amanduh that wasn't my favourite look of theirs!

I don't build my views on the mainstream media. I find it too biased so do my own research and engage regularly with FWR on here. There are scores of very sensible, reasonable and educated women on there who advocate for other women. It's not about being hateful or 'anti' anything. In my view, someone can live the life they want as long as no harm comes to others. There are children who reject their gender norms and as a result are being medicated and indoctrinated to an irreversible state. It's gone too far and that is why people's feelings are far down in my list of priorities.

I did know a ftm transperson. Very troubled young person who was also autistic. Saw their transition as a way to reject their female body after suffering sexual abuse. Died due to recreational drug overdose while detransitioning. This didn't change my views at all, in fact, only made them stronger. This person should have been supported properly instead of people enabling their hatred of themself and pandering to a harmful delusion.

Only two examples on that list involved actual criminals. The rest are extremely common examples which women encounter daily. The trans agenda is causing the erasure of homosexual people from the organisations that only came into existence due to their activism (Stonewall etc). It doesn't matter that not all trans people are like that. We should be protecting vulnerable people from those who are. Just like we do with men. Of course not all men are violent or sexual predators but we still have sex segregated spaces to protect women from those who are. This is no different.

Transgender is about how someone views themself.
That doesn't mean I need to align with, or adhere to that view. I won't welcome men into women's spaces.
Biological sex trumps 'feelings'.

My views on female to male are exactly the same. Any biological woman is welcome in any woman's space no matter how they dress or identify.

We cannot 'become' other races, ages or beings. Sex is no different.

Identify as a man and you might have a chance. They're not allowed to discriminate against your vagina if you say you're a man 😁

Charley1988 · 19/10/2019 12:21

Ok foodname I'll take note !! I always preferred boys toys over dolls anyway as a child Grin
