I have a condition which means that I get vulval pain. I tried to have a smear test but it was impossible because I was in total agony. Apparently there are some alternatives like urine or blood testing or DIY kits that involve inserting a tampon (the latter I could probably do in my own time I think). I can’t tell if these are available privately or just things that are being researched. Has anyone done on any of these and can you tell me how you went about it?
