Child maintenance

Hi first time posting.

Just after some advice really.

So for the past 6yrs I've had a mutual agreement with my sons dad to pay £150 a month child maintenance.
Now son is 15 his requests for clothing and after school activities are slowly increasing in price.
I asked ex to pay for one of his after school clubs which are £25 a month to which he replied I give you more than enough.
I've rang CMA up as I wasn't happy and as I haven't had a increase in maintenance in the 6yrs even though he's had numerous payrises and a promotion at work.
CMA have come back to say he should be giving me 3 times the amount he does now. He rang me up pleading poverty saying if he paid that amount we would be skint.
I told him I understand that and I wasn't expecting that much so I would be happy to come to an agreement together and end the CMA input.
His offer is £250 which is £100 more than I am getting now but still £200 less than he legally should be paying.
AIBU in wanting him to meet me in the middle and pay £300?
Thanks for you advice
