Re the makers of skittles. As in stop filling the packet with yellow orange and green ones, nobody wants that shit we're here for the red and purples. Why do they continue to do this?

Yellow, green and orange are my favourites. I used to love the red ones and I used to save all of them from every packet I bought (I got them most days from the school vending machine at 35p a pack) in a jar in my room as a teen, I ate them all at once and then really went off them.

The purple ones are rank.

In our family skittles and haribo are referred to as ‘common’ sweets. They are the confectionery version of ‘builder’s’ tea.

DS calls Opal Fruits Firework Sweets. It’s stuck in our house. And he had a packet of lemony flavoured Ticktacks the other week. He said they taste like the smell of kitchen Flash. He’s right, they do.

Just came across this thread as unable to sleep. Currently on antibiotics which continually leave a horrible taste in my mouth, so actually sitting up in bed and guess what I’m sucking away at to alleviate the taste........good old skittles! 🤣🤣

Noooo! Purple is rubbish too! I’m with you on the red. For me it’s red & green all the way. Strawberry & lime sweets are always the best flavours.
