Re the makers of skittles. As in stop filling the packet with yellow orange and green ones, nobody wants that shit we're here for the red and purples. Why do they continue to do this?

One if my kids arrived home yesterday with a packet of shell less ones (for want of a better description). They were just the chewy centre, without the crispy shell.

I thought they were discontinued but have just popped up on Tesco online. (They contain palm oil though. )

I haven't eaten normal skittles since I was 17 as they were my first boyfriend's favourite sweets and I've never been able to eat them since (except for the American version which has grape for purple.) Some Americans were also very upset when they swapped the lime for green apple. (I hope our green ones are still lime. Lime flavoured things are underrated!

I still call them Opal Fruits too . Red and Green are the best of those. I'm not a Skittles fan, but can confirm that the purple ones are rank.

YANBU regarding the overuse of yellow, green and orange ones, but YABU to eat skittles in the first place. They taste like washing up detergent with flavoured sweetners. Although I must say I find the 'taste the rainbow' ads very funny and quite clever.

It's not just skittles. They do the same with all sweets. Loads of the shit colours and none of the nice ones.

I like the green ones.

I'm sure I read somewhere that Skittles actually all have the same flavour. You just think they taste different.
