Re the makers of skittles. As in stop filling the packet with yellow orange and green ones, nobody wants that shit we're here for the red and purples. Why do they continue to do this?

Orange are the best, followed by yellow then green then red.
Ds1 gets the purple ones as he's the only person I know daft enough to like blackcurrant. I've never liked blackcurrant, never liked Ribena and blackcurrant dioralyte makes me sick.

I swear Tesco used to sell packs of JUST red & purple in 2016? I am imagining things? I definitely remember buying them at Tesco in Hammersmith station but can’t find anything online...

I think some of you need to get together, buy several bags and swap the colours! Or they could introduce a skittles pic n mix where you fill your own.

Post the green ones to me. Green anything - Skittles, Starburst, Fruit Gums, Wine Gums. Green is the only way to go!!

Green are actually THE best and most sour of all the skittles. Skittles sour are also up there. Purples are meh....
Starburst (aka opalfruits) Green are also the best.
Chewits however I will say the purple and red packets are nice 👍🏻 They did some random sour lime type ones with crunchy sour bits in at one point and they were the bomb 💣 can’t find them these days!

Yellow can only be tolerated if shoved in with a mouthful of other colours. Green sweets of all kinds are given a wide berth.

The only allergic reaction (hives and vomiting) that DD has had was after she ate a bag of red/purple/pink skittles.

I think they are all way too sweet and all taste the same.

What’s wrong with wine gums or mentos if you must have crunch.

But. There's always a but.
Do Skittles bounce? A bouncy surface doesn't count, obviously. Cricket, with a cricket bat, and Skittles. Rounders, with a Rounders bat, and Skittles.
Or.
Soak up the colourings and additives. Most excellent.
I'm also a Marmite Lover.

They're best when you have one of each colour together.

But if you have no choice, then the best order is

green
purple
yellow
orange
red

Actually, green is always thrown out of the train window. And rightly so. Just as it should be. It wasn't just me throwing them out of the window. But I live in carrot crunching country. I'm lucky to even have a train. LOL LOL LOL LOL! Or any "public" transport at all. I can get a bus, to the nearest town, for ten minutes, or four hours. AND!! the local Council has decided to cut the bus service .... I know it's because of my irresponsible Skittles shenanigans. Oh. And the thing with Marmite. Bugger. Forgot about that. Bugger. Bugger.
