Anyone managed to or planning to whilst still being able to afford an interesting life?
Me and my dh are both part time in our early 50s and thinking it might be possible to go the whole hog by 60 as we've already paid off the mortgage and rent out a property each. But we don't have much in our pensions so we will need to make our savings last. Also we're both unlikely to receive any inheritance.
We want to travel not potter, at least for the first few years. Wonder if it would be better health permitting to stay part time until oa pension.
Just wondering what ideas/plans anyone else has?
