To be driving myself mad with worry. CBD oil for twitching?

Hello. I have horrific anxiety recently which manifested into weird pain around the body, twitching etc.

I have had full bloods and all normal. Been given range of anxiety tablets but the make me worse. Twitching is just in feet now but scares the life out of me. The more i pay attention to it the more i twitch. Has anyone tried CBD oil for anxiety symptoms and twitching?

Things were so bad a while back, i was wondering what i could use to end it all and be at peace. Im scared of going back to that mindset. If i can get rid of the twitching, then atleast that i know im creating these symptoms and its not some horrible desease ive convinced myself i have.

Thank you to anyone who replies.

How old are you, op? I highly doubt the twitching is anything to worry about. Is anything else going on?

Hello. Im 32. I really feel like im going crazy with worry. I have strange pains in arms and legs but sometimes think this might be because my body is so tense. When i realise im tense and relax my muscles, i realise how bunched up my body has been. The rational side of my brain switches on every now and then but then i start going mad with worry again.

Maybe counselling is the way to go.

I think you need to get some professional advice. Most CBD sold is not strong enough to do much good.

JasonPollack · 15/10/2019 17:18

'The original alternative' website do good (strong) cbd oil which I use to manage anxiety and panic attacks. I think its worth a shot? I've previously found propananol from the doctor as well very helpful for the physical symptoms of anxiety.

Do you know what is making you so anxious? Can you tackle the root cause?

Have you tried meditation or mindfulness.
I find I twitch or clench my teeth during the night ( wake with what feels like bad toothache ) if my anxiety is bad.
Relaxation techniques really help me.
Other what is prescribed I always work on me and don't confuse the issues by adding more factors.

Hi all.

Thanks for sharing your experience with anxiety twitching. How are they now?

I've developed a severe case of anxiety twitching recently I've worried myself silly that I've got MND or some dreadful disease. It's so draining.. Its all I think about at the moment.

It had started to get better and I hardly noticed it but I've become a bit more anxious since I seen something on Television about a little girl having Lukemia and it's set my anxiety off again.

Started counselling and doctor has started me on Stretaline to help. Just waiting for them to kick I'm almost on week 4. My anxiety is health anxiety and it varies between me dying, my husband and either of my children (2&5) I lost my little boy at a week old who would now be 7 at 7 days old and to be honest I think that has traumatised/scarred me forever.

Thanks to anyone who replies xSmile

@y2k1u158 hi! Im soo sorry your experience those symptoms. Im so sorry to hear you lost your littlw boy. :(
Are you still getting those symptoms? I have health anxiety and im currently pregnant. I hve got a lip twitch now and again thinking of the worst :( please let me know your symptoms and if they are better and how long they lasted? X

y2k1u158 · 15/02/2021 20:37

@Starrr123 first of all congratulations on your pregnancy. Several months down the line and feeling much more happier. Still get the occasional twitching which I ignore 99% of the time. I think that's why it's gone to be honest. I don't give it the time of day. Please don't stress to much because its not good for you or baby. I've joined lots of groups for support and they all advise the only time to be worried if you have weakness. Twitching is apparently well known symptom of Anxiety. Take care x

Starrr123 · 15/02/2021 20:48

@y2k1u158 did you get the twitching in your face also? Thankyou :) i just want to feel happy and not worry 99.9% of the time :( its just my cheek and face. Sometimes in my legs but im putting that down to the baby. My face aches like ive been smiling or laughing too much very strange xx

y2k1u158 · 15/02/2021 20:58

@Starrr123 yes twitching everywhere. Legs, feet, arms, lips, eye, back. Literally but like I say as long as it's not accompanied with anything else then there's a strong chance you are fine. It's called benign muscle fascination. Have a bit of a read and it will all make sense. Don't do what I did and read the bad stuff xx

Starrr123 · 15/02/2021 21:05

@y2k1u158 ok thankyou :) well ill see how i go. If it continues then ill call my GP. But i really dont think they will do alot :/ ive had a head mri in December for head pain and ear pain all clear. Soo they are putting wverything to pregnancy. Thankyou for actually replying to me :)i think i googling and reading all the bad things makes me much worse xx

y2k1u158 · 15/02/2021 21:14

@Starrr123 oh absolutely. Try and speak to someone. I got referred for Cognitive Behavioural Therapy but ended up going private due to lockdown. Impossible to see a doctor at the moment. Give your GP a ring and explain for sure. Oh that's great I've never had any tests like that but I've 100% had the same symptoms of head and ear pain! You aren't alone, hang on in there xx

Starrr123 · 15/02/2021 21:19

@y2k1u158 ok thankyou :) ill give it a few days and see how i am! Im hoping its just anxiety and being super tired! Thankyou again :) and take care x x x

y2k1u158 · 15/02/2021 21:28

Yes that will be playing a part. No problem at all, nice messaging you. Sending you all the very best and positive vibes. Hope you can relax a bit. Take care xx

Sorry I have nothing to contribute but what exactly does CBD oil do? Does it have a similar effect to smoking a joint or?

y2k1u158 · 15/02/2021 23:02

I've no idea about cbd oil. Also don't smoke
