Love autumn you can be all warm and cosy-and big jumpers cardies scarfs hats-You get to cover up your wobbly bitsWink

PinkiOcelot · 14/10/2019 20:09

I can feel my SAD setting in already. Hate this weather!x

SomewhereInbetween1 · 14/10/2019 20:12

This is just a part of the Autumn I love! Wet dog walks are just as enjoyable in my book as dry crisp ones. I still love it 😊

sockittome123 · 14/10/2019 20:14

I spent all of today freezing, no matter how many layers I had on. I hate autumn!

fizzfizzplinkplink · 14/10/2019 20:21

I must have the opposite of SAD as my mood always perks up when the nights start drawing in. I love chilly weather, especially if it's raining, there's no such thing as bad weather only poor clothing.

I love wearing cosy jumpers, cooking stews, closing the curtains early and lighting a fire. I love a frosty morning and listening to rain on the roof.

AgeLikeWine · 14/10/2019 20:32

I usually love autumn but here in Leicestershire, which is usually a fairly dry part of the country, this season has been a complete wash-out.

It has rained relentlessly for weeks and weeks, and this has been one of the wettest periods I can remember. There is flooding everywhere and loads of events have had to be cancelled due to flooding and waterlogged ground.

Mamabear12 · 14/10/2019 20:35

Love autumn when it’s changing leaves and blue sky. Not this shit weather that is relentless!!!!! Argh! So sick of it!!

Bunnylady53 · 14/10/2019 20:36

I do love Autumn but peed off with all the rain! Longing for crisp days with blue skies & sunshine - lucky enough to live in Cornwall & nothing beats walking along a beautiful beach when all the tourists have gone then having a cheeky hot chocolate whilst you watch the waves. Heaven on earth 🙂

Sparklesocks · 14/10/2019 20:38

I actually wish it was a bit cooler, it’s been 15-17 degrees in London and raining every day so it’s just quite warm and wet...

Butterfly3005 · 14/10/2019 20:39

Yes this IS exactly what I was talking about back in summer! Yes it's raining, however the trees are still vibrant and full of colour, we can still kick the leaves on the floor, the weather is lovely and cool and we can enjoy walks without sripping with sweat, cosy clothes and boots, foggy mornings with that smell in the air, candles and fire on in the evening, snuggling under blankets and hot drinks.... I could go on. You don't need 'dry' weather to enjoy Autumn!

Butterfly3005 · 14/10/2019 20:41

dripping **

iklboo · 14/10/2019 20:43

I still love autumn. The wind & rain lashing at the window when I'm tucked up in bed with a good book. Getting in from the cold. Stews & casseroles with dumplings. Jumpers and boots. Geese flying overhead and the smell of people's fires.

You can shove pumpkin spiced lattes though. Bleurgh.

Aldibaldi555 · 14/10/2019 20:46

Getting in from the cold is not much fun if your house is colder than outside....

IHaveBrilloHair · 14/10/2019 20:48

Another SAD sufferer and already wondering how I'll get through it and be cheery.

Treaclepie19 · 14/10/2019 20:50

Nope, I love it! Opinion hasn't changed.
Feeling much happier than in the summer. I must have the opposite type of SAD.

Nextphonewontbesamsung · 14/10/2019 20:52

Still love it and feeling 10x more energetic than at any other time of year. People are different! Who knew?

inthekitchensink · 14/10/2019 20:53

Big Autumn lover here, and I’ve loved collecting autumn foliage & roasting chestnuts we found, picking mushrooms & blackberries... for about a week and now I’m damp and mouldy like everything else & desperate for a holiday Wine

Delatron · 14/10/2019 20:58

So much to love about flooding and constant frizzy hair. It’s bloody depressing not seeing the sun for weeks.

FoxBaseBeta · 14/10/2019 20:59

Well, 'Autumn lovers' could equally say the same to 'summer lovers' on a standard pissing down summer's day!

Delatron · 14/10/2019 20:59

I’m also so tired I’m about to go to bed. Amazing how this rain gives some people energy. I’m jealous. I need the sun and light for energy

SunInTheSkyYouKnowHowIFeel · 14/10/2019 21:07

Remember all you summer lovers... the weather can be like this in the summer too! At least this time of year you kind of expect it and you havent booked your annual summer holiday to Cornwall.

I love this time of year, rain outside makes me feel cosy!

Fairenuff · 14/10/2019 21:07

I love the rain. I was just thinking today how lovely it is to see the leaves swirling in the rain and how green the fields are already after the harvest.

AliceLittle · 14/10/2019 21:10

Favourite time of year and all this warm rain is fantastic for mushroom picking. This year is particularly spectacular! 🍄

RaininSummer · 14/10/2019 21:24

Depressing and horrible. Arriving work like a soggy yeti and spending all day damp is not nice.

Rubywhoo · 14/10/2019 21:25

I love the rain! Hate the wind though
