Issues with boss

My boss has been a bit of a prick recently. Declined holiday when I needed time off to look after (non-dependant) family member, taking credit for my work, refusing to hire extra help that we do have head count sign off for and I need then putting me on an action plan to get work done, but getting huffy when I demonstrate that there’s no action plan that will make me capable of doing two peoples very large workloads, sending unnecessary emails etc. He’s also very inept and in completely the wrong job for him, hasn’t got the skill set or experience to manage his work, so dumps it on me.
I’m managing the situation, documenting everything etc but quite frankly, I’m struggling with even being polite to him. Any advise to stop me doing something stupid, like stapling his face to the desk?

Remove all the screws from his desk
Dismantle his keyboard switch the letter keys round and put it back together like that (only joking)

What’s that thing you do to a keyboard to make the text appear upside down?

Appear upside down on the monitor I mean. That’s always good for pissing people off. Deny all knowledge. It must have just gone wonky. Ha haGrin
