I make no excuses I'm a child of the 70s ..but recently following on from threads about the 'old body shop products' and discontinued chocolate bars etc. AIBU to think Avon would make a fortune out of promoting old favourites such as Pretty Peach, soap on a rope and Skin so soft.
They could make a fortune out of us who love to reminisce......

I always loved Quick Touch - i'd buy it now for nostalgia alone.

The smell would take me right back to Sunday nights/bath time.

Iced Champink nail varnish. A very very pale pink and the only one we were allowed to wear.

Bluesheep8 · 12/10/2019 08:35

They still sell skin so soft

RJnomore1 · 12/10/2019 08:36

Aw I had a near perfume bottle of pretty peach when I wa little. The bear was covered in velour. I loved it.

NemoIsLost · 12/10/2019 08:40

I loved pretty peach! the hand cream with the peach shaped lid, the peach shaped soaps.
And mum always used quick touch on my hair on a Sunday night!! I had really long hair and used to sit there while she combed all the knots out😆
I also remember little white soaps in the shape of snowman at xmas

I used to love Kiku perfume by Faberge . Reminds me of my teenage years ( a loooong time ago)

lidoshuffle · 12/10/2019 09:43

Ooh Kiku in the bright yellow spherical packaging!

Mary Quant's 'Havoc' was my teenage perfume.

SerenDippitty · 12/10/2019 09:47

I loved Avon strawberry foam bath, came in a bottle shaped like a huge strawberry complete with a green top.

Quick Touch! I’ve never met anyone else who remembers it. It was part of the Sunday night hair wash ritual in our house too. I remember the shock of the cold splodge of Quick Touch on my head prior to the therapeutic comb through.
I also loved Avon Pretty Peach and moved on to the Body Shops Fuzzy Peach in my early twenties.
I’ve got Skin So Soft in my bathroom!

SerenDippitty · 12/10/2019 09:54

Anyone else remember Cream Silk conditioner?

Pinkarsedfly · 12/10/2019 09:55

What did Quick Touch do?

bachsingingmum · 12/10/2019 09:57

Cream Silk! I think that was the first hair conditioner generally available. Early/mid 70s? With very long hair at the time I loved it. Can you imagine not having conditioner?

Spaceprincess · 12/10/2019 10:00

My mum had Cream Silk when I was little, me and my sisters were not allowed it !

PhonicTheHedgehog · 12/10/2019 10:42

Quick Touch was a leave in hair conditioner. It had a unique sent. In reality it was probably cumulatively damaging to hair as I imagine it was full of silicone?
