They owe me money. They sent me a letter asking to provide bank details. I have been sitting on the phone for THREE HOURS trying to get through with their blardy classical music playing. I have been getting on with other stuff to but blardy hell...do they only gave 1 employee on the phones or something?

i never, ever want to hear Vivaldi again. especially the trilling bit where it’s cranked so high it vibrates. fuck that.

MitziK · 11/10/2019 19:51

Nobody likes Vivaldi now.

PurrBox · 11/10/2019 19:54

Vivaldi is Baroque not Classical, so you don't have to hate classical-

Oh boy do to empathise with you this week, it's enough to give anyone palpitations just hearing that tune on any other setting.

Uptheshard · 11/10/2019 20:04

They never answer the phone. They are crap. Better to go to the drop in at the job centre....

AnotherEmma · 11/10/2019 20:07

It is terrible how long it takes to get through on the phone. We have this problem (at Citizens Advice) a lot. My advice is to do it online if you can and if not then call as soon as the lines open in the morning.

mumwon · 11/10/2019 20:25

HMRC are equally wonderful at (not) answering - my pet hate is when you ring numbers & get timed out & have to start all over again
