Now we were I thought going for food and drinks, I was planning to get a bit happy lets say. Called to check where we were meeting. He’s there with his nephew eating and sounded wankered.
He’s booked a hotel
I don’t want to go.

Don't. Go.
You are worth more than this.

Paddingtonthebear · 11/10/2019 19:21

Don’t go then. He doesn’t sound like a catch!

CoffeeNeeded2019 · 11/10/2019 19:22

Definitely don’t go
You deserve much better
If this is him trying to make a good impression, just imagine how much worse he can get!
You’re well shot of him

Alittleodd · 11/10/2019 19:22

What a prize! How lucky you are OP, to be invited for such a magical evening.

Please tell me you aren't the same poster who had the man turn up drunk on the first date?

Don't go.

HollyBollyBooBoo · 11/10/2019 19:23

Don't go and ghost him. Knobhead.

P1nkHeartLovesCake · 11/10/2019 19:24

Don’t go....

FFS up your standards

HollowTalk · 11/10/2019 19:24

Oh god, I wouldn't dream of going. And what's his nephew doing with him if he's meant to be on a date?

Inliverpool1 · 11/10/2019 19:24

Oh god no, he was fine the first night. No fireworks but alright. I’ve gone to dispondant to fucked right off. I’ve paid a babysitter for this

OP posts:
FinnBalorsAbs · 11/10/2019 19:24

Don’t go. Cancel.

Georgeofthejungle · 11/10/2019 19:24

Just say you’ll leave him to it and rearrange. You are not a sure thing which is what his behaviour reads like he’s thinking!

Thehop · 11/10/2019 19:24

Jesus do NOT go be a shag for a piss head.

Inliverpool1 · 11/10/2019 19:25

I’ve suggested he carry on drinking with his nephew and blocked him

OP posts:
Georgeofthejungle · 11/10/2019 19:25

Go visit a friend instead

Inliverpool1 · 11/10/2019 19:25

Just checking I wasn’t being precious ☺️

Inthenewsagain · 11/10/2019 19:25

Don't go, absolutely not.

Georgeofthejungle · 11/10/2019 19:26

Well done!

Inthenewsagain · 11/10/2019 19:26

Haha phew!

Meggymoo777 · 11/10/2019 19:28

You were being precious... because you are precious and worth way more than that!!! Thanks Good woman, keep the babysitter and call a girlfriend for a night in/out!

Inliverpool1 · 11/10/2019 19:28

Thanks gals ☺️

OP posts:
Heismyopendoor · 11/10/2019 19:29

Don’t waste your babysitter. Ask a friend if they want to go out for dinner or a movie or what takes your fancy really.

He is a total waste of space, assumes you will just be a sure thing and really sounds like an idiot and not a good catch.

Run.

hormonesorDHbeingadick · 11/10/2019 19:30

Just no.
But while we are at of why were you planning on going to a hotel room with a bloke on a second date if there were no fireworks on the first date.

user1493413286 · 11/10/2019 19:30

That sounds like a nightmare, you’re right not to go.
