I know IABU but I need help fast. Got a silver cross and this is the 2nd rain over to break on me in 9 months.

I'm out all day in pouring heavy rain with DC and the zip has completely broken and I have no way to fix the zip.

What can help keep baby dry in a pinch? He's got a coat on but he's going to get soaked!

We also both have colds so it's really awful and it's all appointments I can't avoid that's keeping us out.

Just buy a universal one if they keep breaking?! Surely the hood will cover with a blanket aswell. I’ve been caught out a few times without the rain cover and I just put the hood up and cover dd with a blanket. Over just put a blanket over the pram that’s what I do aswell, I know your not suppose to in the hot weather but I assume it’s fine when it’s cold.

I wouldn't do it when it's cold either to be honest, it keeps the air from circulating properly. If you've got a plastic bag to put baby's legs in and have the hood up it should keep the worst off OP. Blanket over the torso. If it's pure wool that's better as wool will keep baby warm even if it's wet.
