Took my cat to the Vets for a blood test a week ago today. Vet told me he would call me back the next day with the results - fine. The next day came and went and no phone call. Called up Monday and asked for them to ring me with the results - said they would that day. No call came. I’ve called them twice more this week since then (both times checking they had the correct contact details for me) and both times I was promised a call back - it’s now Thursday PM and I still haven’t heard from them! 😡 To add insult to injury, the appointment I had was a first one after registering there so you’d think they’d want to make a good impression! 🤦🏼♀️
The reason I registered there was because I had a crap experience with my previous practice so moved to this one hoping for better - I have an elderly cat with hyperthyroidism so need a Vet that is reliable and who I can trust! Is this too much to ask for nowadays? My old Vets used to be great 10 years ago when it was a privately owned practice (both new and old vets are now owned by corporate companies) - is this where I am going wrong? Seems almost impossible to find privately owned practices these days... 😫
