AIBU to sulk?

DH has booked this week off work as it's my birthday week, however we've done nothing as at 16 weeks pregnant I've got a cold which has made me feel really awful, I've thrown up, felt dizzy and the pressure and pain in my head is horrible. So now I'm sulking that on my birthday I'm going to feel awful and probably just stay in bed feeling sorry for myself

Sulking is unreasonable.

However, you would not be unreasonable to have a duvet day, with a good film and get your DH to bring you drinks/food and treats.

Rest for now so you can recover and plan a belated birthday celebration for a weekend in a couple of weeks when you feel well enough to enjoy it.

Sorry to hear that. Flowers

But if you have to feel ill, do it in style - fresh flowers, exactly the food and drink you fancy, brought to you, favourite film on the television, and do your nails (and toenails whilst you still can!).

Hope it’s a much nicer day than you expect CakeBrewSmile
