Undisclosed speeding ticket mistake

Not an AIBU question but posting for traffic

Had an email from my insurer today to state they have completed an Audit and it’s shown an undisclosed driving conviction SP30 from feb 2018.

Has anyone else had an email like this before? As far as I’m aware this is not correct I haven’t been notified of any speeding tickets through the post
surely I would have been stopped by the police or had my insurance contact me prior to this

Anyone had any similar experience

Hi op!
I work for an insurance company and we have a system that searches for discrepancies between previous policies and quotes people have done online.
If you’ve never had a speeding offence then you need to go online to retrieve your licence history. You just need your national insurance number and your driving licence number. You can view your conviction history and you can share your licence details with your insurer.
You can get a code off the website which you give your insurer and they will check the licence details.

Call your insurance company. I had an email like that and the next emailed offered a one of payment to cover the non disclosure. It looked really official, but it was a scam.

Is the address on your licence and logbook up to date?
