I met him at DH's best mate's wedding a few years back. He's a complete and utter arse. It completely ruined my teenage years.

I agree. He certainly doesn't look bad but he looks a good 5 or even 10 years older than his age. Perhaps it's the white hair and he's also very thin which can make you look gaunt as you age.
