I was initially a bit shocked at how much he's aged when George died (still sad to be writing that) but like a pp said it's because he's not been in the limelight for years.

I still can't believe George is dead It still takes me by surprise every time I hear it. I'm in denial.

TBH i am the same age at GM would have been now and DH is the same age as AR. We DO NOT look like we did in the period that we met and got married which is much the same period as Wham were at the height of their fame (1980-85 approx). Time passes and we all get older!

I agree @Pullingmysocksup. He was way better looking than George Micheal back in the day, but we never noticed. I was a Duranie too, but look back at pictures of my beloved Nick Rhodes and John Taylor and think what was I thinking!

I don't think he looks particularly old for his age. He's just got grey hair (I would have too if I didn't dye my hair and I'm younger).

I was in 6th form when I saw Wham on their 'Fantastic' tour at Leeds Uni, where George sat on the stage and sang a beautiful song that we'd not heard before....that was later released.....Careless Whisper.

He hasn't put on weight, he has his own hair, he's gone a nice shade of grey... He looks good.

I think he still looks good, quite attractive (but I was a teen in the 80s!).

Is it picking holes in someone's appearance to say that you are surprised at how old they look for their age?

I thought exactly the same when I saw him a few days ago, not saying he looks bad, he looked very smart but he does look older than his years imo.

Now I think he looks lovely. Sexy, refined and ageing like a fine wine.

No issues with how he looks, but think it's a bit off that he's trying to cash in on George Michael's success now, with the book.
