Hi All

I need some advice on what to do if I'm being unreasonable or how to handle this.

so my H works in a manual job doing night shifts I also work full time and we have 3 kids.

The issue is he never wants to eat anything i cook at home and constantly wants to get takeaways.
It doesnt matter what I make he doesnt want it.

We cant really afford it but then he says Im only getting peri peri chicken 🤢 which doesnt cost a lot

I've bought a gorge foreman grill and bought the nandos spice packets and sauces and that wasnt good enough.

Nothing I ever make is good enough.

Its not a case of I cant cook because I can .

Anything I make is according to him shit from curries to quiche to cottage pie .

AIBU?
what should i do?

Aside from health reasons and financial cost I dont want my kids eating a takeout regularly either as he picks the kids up from school and gives them their tea.

Oh and if I ask him what he wants when he tells me he doesnt fancy the dinner I've made the answer is always 'dont know' or 'fast food' !!!!

He's bloody rude...why are you with him????

Get him to cook if he thinks you're so bad at it...cheeky fuckwit!! I'd seriously be getting rid of him if it was me 😡

It must be costing a fortune. Really selfish of him to behave like that.

Is this a new thing or has he always been like this?

purplelila2 · 07/10/2019 20:16

He hasn't always been like this its gotten worse recently.

I think eating out or 1 takeaway a week on a Friday or Saturday night is reasonable not almost every other day .

He'll want chicken wings and chips or that peri peri chicken and chips or rice .

I'm really fed up with it tbh
