To want 'national debt solutions UK' to bugger off and stop calling me?

Any tips on how the hell to stop these nuisance calls?

I get called multiple times per day from a company calling itself 'national debt solutions UK' today, although they vary the name slightly with each call.

They always start with some spiel about new government legislation and how they can write off all my 'debt'.

I have gone blue in the face asking them to take me off their information database. The 'manager' I spoke to today said, although he can take me off their database, he can't possibly guarantee that "other similar companies", which I'm taking to mean his company with a slight variation in name, don't call.

They ring from a different mobile number every time, so I can't block one number. I use my number for work which sometimes involves getting calls from numbers I don't recognise, so I can't just change my number or stop answering unknown mobile numbers.

Please help.

Anyone?

They've called me three times today, each time from a different mobile number.

Every time I asked them to take me off their call list.

We have a similar situation (not the same company) except to our landline.. we've tried to explain we're ex directory, been polite and asked Tobe removed from the Calling database, even told them to hang on a mo then walked away to waste their time, left phone off hook for a few days to get it reported as a dead number, etc

The only thing that's worked so far was getting completely irate last week (akin to screaming "oh fuck off you fucking cunts, if you were here I'd stab you, just fucking fuck off" down the line after I'd had about 2 hrs sleep and júuust got baby down for a nap, only for another one of their calls to come through). I haven't had a call in over a week now when normally it's 2-3 days max, sometimes twice a day.

So try threats?

Either that or a whistle down the line.

I'm not joking, I'm so fucked off we can't easily block these nuisance scammers.

Just dont answer calls from unknown mobile numbers?

If its important people tend to leave voice mails or send messages.

I block every single number these types of companies call me on. I have a loooooòng list of blocked numbers but I dont seem to get calls anyone
