Cat Piss!

Hi all... Posting for traffic (sorry)!

My 18 month old cat is usually really good, has been letterbox trained since we brought her home. However, over the past two days she's started peeing in random places around the house such as the kitchen table, on my clothes and on my towel.

Has anyone experienced anything similar? What do you think it could be? I've booked her into the vets next week.

You can't post for traffic in Relationships, about cat piss! Grin haha! That's hilarious.

Also, I'd love to know how to letterbox train a cat?!? Impressive!

Sounds like stress, what's changed at home recently?

category12 · 06/10/2019 14:49

Have there been any changes at home that could be stressing her?

LunasOrchid · 06/10/2019 14:50

No changes what so ever! She's still her usual self maybe a more grooming of herself down below.

Sounds like she has a UTI.

Hi all

We're just moving this to AIBU for the OP. Flowers

Well, I'd be lying if I said I wasn't slightly disappointed now! After reading the title, I was expecting a topic along the lines of you having met someone who is absolutely perfect in every single way - gorgeous, funny, witty, generous, charming - but, to your horror, upon entering their residence for the first time after an amazing evening together, you were greeted with the unbearable stench of cat piss. My advice... LTB!

In all honesty, I'm hoping your cat is okay and it turns out to be nothing serious. I'm sure it's something very minor and she'll be fine. Flowers

LunasOrchid · 06/10/2019 14:58

Oh no 😭 I hope not, I know how painful they can be! She's booked into the vets for the earliest online appointment for Tuesday, maybe I can ring Monday and get an earlier appointment if I explain?

Hah we used to call it cat piss when you left your personal belongings at a boyfriends place to "mark your territory" as such - I thought it was going to be about this!

LunasOrchid · 06/10/2019 15:25

😂 I'm sorry to disappoint you all! Would have made a great thread!

Deep clean litter boxes, not just new gravel but that to, get another litter box in a place near to where they've peed this should be enough.
