Would you get a garage conversion if your garage joined in to ndn's garage?

You’ll need to check that there aren’t any covenants or planning conditions on the original house to prevent the garage being converted. If there is a condition you will require planning permission.

In terms of doing it, a fair few have done it down our road but I can see the downside if people repair or actually use their garage as it was originally intended! Have you enough car parking without it?

Thanks for reply. It's a new build, 5 years old but several houses on our street have done theirs. We'd still have driveway parking for our one car.

I'm seeing online that the cost could vary from 6k to 20k!
