The coloured stripe on an M&S label for eg pair of jeans now denotes the style rather than size. All sizes are the same coloured tag. Makes finding the right size a pain in the proverbial, and the staff are saying it’s making their job much harder. What eejit at headquarters came up with this idea?

The one who saw the cost involved in having different colours for every size, presumably. 10 sizes, say, compared to straight leg, wide leg, bootcut and cropped.
