I would hate it if my work colleagues knew I collected stamps. :D :D

I don't collect, collect them. I bought a pack of mixed used stamps a few years ago to do an art project and then realised how amazing they were. So I occassionally browse for unusual/nice ones in ebay and the like. I don't know anything about them but my little stamp albums make me happy. :D :D

That I will walk out at the drop of a hat the moment my mental health feels compromised.

dandtsmum · 06/10/2019 11:51

how difficult my life is outside work
I can't wait to leave and I daydream of handing in my resignation letter
How much I hate the game players, self-righteous twats, blame passers and back stabbers
That some of the old school peoples ideas are wrong, but of course cannot be challenged

dandtsmum · 06/10/2019 11:52

Ooh

Not that light hearted

MotherTime3 · 06/10/2019 12:04

My first thought was that they know me pretty well, but then I read this...

That I once rinsed out my knickers and dried them in the staffroom microwave

And would probably have kept that quiet too 😂😂

Mammyloveswine · 06/10/2019 12:37

@GreySheep I've got a job interview too! But only been in my job 10 years...

I think they too will be surprised if I leave!

GreySheep · 06/10/2019 13:46

Good luck to you @Mammyloveswine for tomorrow. I’m terrified and can’t imagine doing an interview after all these years let alone actually leaving but I’m also excited too. Fingers crossed for us both.

Bargebill19 · 06/10/2019 16:09

Good luck!

AloneLonelyLoner · 06/10/2019 18:11

@GreySheep massive good luck! Please let us know how it went. SmileSmile

AloneLonelyLoner · 06/10/2019 18:11

And @Mammyloveswine !!

Mammyloveswine · 06/10/2019 18:13

Thank you @AloneLonelyLoner and @GreySheep

fieldgate · 06/10/2019 18:28

That I used to work as a stripper in my younger years and was bloody good at it!
Now as a mother of 3 kids I am very insecure about my looks and wear baggy clothing to hide my body.

paulhollywoodhandshake · 06/10/2019 18:31

I don't think there is anything certain work colleagues don't know about me Grin

I wouldn't want management to know that I print out personal things at work using works printer.

But other than that I'm a pretty open book!

Pinkarsedfly · 06/10/2019 18:37

That I’m massively introverted, so the chances of me turning up to anything social are very small indeed.

Actually, scratch that. I would like to tell them. If I could bring myself to say ‘Please don’t invite me to anything more than a meal, and even then I might not come. It’s not that I don’t like you, it’s just that being around people absolutely drains me, and the job itself takes everything I have,’ without upsetting anyone, I would.

GreySheep · 06/10/2019 18:54

Thank you @AloneLonelyLoner will do 🤞

LellyMcKelly · 06/10/2019 19:06

That my boss is scared of me because she did something that was against company policy and was trying to intimidate me into doing the same but I refused to back down (it involved changing grades on student reports). I have an email trail of the whole incident. The only reason I didn’t take it to HR was because she backed down in the end, but it was horrible, mean and nasty. She went right down in my estimation and I can’t take her seriously or trust her now.

MinnieMountain · 06/10/2019 19:12

That a current colleague bullied me when we worked at a different firm 10 years ago. I don't entirely trust that the massive chip on her shoulder which caused it has gone, so I'm always a bit wary of her.

HotChocolateLover · 06/10/2019 19:14

That DH is not my first husband. I know divorce isn’t a big thing nowadays but it was a painful time in my life and to be divorced by 25 seems odd to me 🤦‍♀️

HotChocolateLover · 06/10/2019 19:15

Oh and that to earn extra money I work as a psychic on a text messaging service.

TryingAndFailing39 · 06/10/2019 19:18

That I fancy one of my colleagues Blush

That I had a fairly wild time in my early twenties!!!

Also that I have trauma related anxiety. They probably would be really supportive but I’m having treatment and doing well so I don’t want to risk any kind of stigma.
(Sorry that bit wasn’t light hearted!)
