I would hate it if my work colleagues knew I collected stamps. :D :D

I don't collect, collect them. I bought a pack of mixed used stamps a few years ago to do an art project and then realised how amazing they were. So I occassionally browse for unusual/nice ones in ebay and the like. I don't know anything about them but my little stamp albums make me happy. :D :D

I am a sub in a BDSM relationship.

Greywalls12 · 05/10/2019 21:19

That I want to go to medical school to be a Dr (I'm a nurse). This won't go down well with my colleagues, so I'm not going to tell them until the very last minute, or maybe not at all!
I'll have to tell my matron, as I need to do an access course first and need specific days off, but apart from her, I'd hate for anyone else to know!

HolyGuac · 05/10/2019 21:20

That I couldn't care less about My boss's up to the minute sales reports and that I have the work what's app muted but I tell them I'm just rubbish with technology and do t see the messages.
There's no way I'm answering work texts and brainstorming ideas at 11pm.
Also that the bad smell in training last week was my rancid farts, carefully and strategically released due to a prawn curry the night before.

MintyMabel · 05/10/2019 21:29

That I really dislike my new job. Been in it a month and already have CVs out there looking for a new job.

canidothisalone · 05/10/2019 21:35

That I revel in letting farts out and picking my nose when none of them are in the vicinity

CluelessNewMama · 05/10/2019 22:00

@YeOldeTrout lol, I think you are overthinking this milk situation.

I wouldn’t want them to know that in my 20s I worked in a strip club and have tried most class A’s. They probably wouldn’t believe me anyway, I’m a very straight laced HR professional, I think they all think I’m terribly dull.

nala15 · 05/10/2019 22:10

That I know my supervisor is fiddling her annual leave.... Hmm

TitsInAbsentia · 05/10/2019 22:10

That as much as I like them as people if I were line managing most of them they'd have been on disciplinaries/out by now!

recklessruby · 05/10/2019 22:21

That I talk to the kitchen appliances while making coffee and have a love/hate relationship with the henry hoover in our office.
That I m not checking emails on my phone on break I m messaging my son to see if our cat is in (gets dark early now and shes not allowed out at night).
I also make him send me a picture of her Smile.
That my friend and I ate the leftover cakes the kids made in Food Tech and the cleaners didnt throw them away.
That I hate Mondays.
That I wish my department had decent money spent on it like maths and science.

SlipperyLizard · 05/10/2019 22:25

That my grandma was the first generation of her family to live in a house (previously they were travellers). We’re all about social mobility at work, but I fear anti-traveller prejudice would be too much.

Ringdonna · 05/10/2019 22:26

That we are swingers

Missingsandraohingreys · 05/10/2019 22:31

Used to be a kissogram
Have genital herpes
Had a SS investigation (which wasn’t pursued)

That’s enough !

Doingtheboxerbeat · 05/10/2019 22:43

Happy birthday for Monday @cortex10 Cake.
I would love to know this kind of thing about my colleagues, you all sound like my kind of people.

Likethebattle · 05/10/2019 22:46

Before I left my last place my bods was on holiday. Someone moved her paperwotjso it was a right mess for the week she cane back 😙

Shockers · 05/10/2019 22:51

That the four hours a day that I spend at work is all I can manage most days, so my house is filthy and falling apart. I haven’t always been like this- just the past 18 months or so.

namechanging2019 · 06/10/2019 09:54

That I'm exceptionally good at skiving and do the bare minimum. I've got the highest level of education bar the manager but I'm the lowest level and the lowest paid despite 3 years of service so I don't intend on making an effort.
Also that the company is so abhorrent in their morals that I'm leaving at the end of this month!

CathyorClaire · 06/10/2019 10:19

That I'd rather eat raw monkey balls than be on the Whatsapp group or attend any out of work social occasion.

ArtificialArctophile · 06/10/2019 10:26

That I have MS. It's dog eat dog and it'd be curtains for me professionally if I told them.
That my boss is a complete and utter tosser.
That I don't care if you are no longer speaking to me after I grassed you up for stealing from the office and skiving in the toilets with your mate.

crosser62 · 06/10/2019 10:35

As someone up thread said.. they are all nice enough but if I were line manager, they would have been gone a long long time ago.
There is a small handful of hard working, intelligent brilliant people, the other 80% are shite at their jobs.

rosamacrose · 06/10/2019 10:36

SlipperyLizard That my ex husband was a gypsy and I lived on a traveller site for 10 years, until 5 years ago.
I work for a company with strong ethical values, but that would be a step too far.
Heard the term 'pikey' used twice in the last month. Not in a nice way. Smile

TheresAFuckOverThere · 06/10/2019 10:41

@itsboiledeggsagain

That I don't vote for religious reasons interesting. What is the background?

I think I am simultaneously paid too much (imposter syndrome) and too little (if they got someone good they should be paying about 20k more, not that my salary is bad)

GreySheep · 06/10/2019 10:54

That I’ve got a job interview tomorrow.
I’ve been in my job for nearly 30 years.
They’ll be gobsmacked if I leave.

WeshMaGueule · 06/10/2019 11:20

That it was me who had it away on my toes with all the leftovers after the last staff party.

Gonzales27 · 06/10/2019 11:29

That I'm don't actually start late on a Friday to do school drop at 9! They go to breakfast club at 7:30 and I go for a long run with the dog. I asked for a short day on a Friday and they assumed it was for school run, I didn't correct them.

(I work flexi time and do more than the required hours every week. if I don't have a fixed reason then I end up being dragged in at all hours!)

ForalltheSaints · 06/10/2019 11:33

That I walked out of a job over 20 years ago.
