To think BJ and DC are simply gaslighting the nation?

Or do they have a secret plan to get round the Benn Bill? Maybe they have some kind of pact with an EU member state to veto an extension - something like that?

I just don’t understand how they are repeatedly claiming with such certainly that we are still leaving on 31st Oct even in a no deal scenario (which, lets face it,looks the most probable outcome right now), despite a law requiring BJ to seek an extension to 31st Jan if a deal is not agreed.

Is this some kind of joke? Are they spectacularly deluded? Is it a blatant attempt to gaslight the public - ie if you just repeat something often enough you’ll wear people down into believing it as fact? Or are they hiding something?

They bang on about democracy, yet feel no compulsion whatsoever to be honest with the electorate Confused. How are they getting away with it? How can it be possible for a govt to not answer this fundamental question? What the hell is going on?

Beats me! In my darkest moments I suspect the country is being run by a handful of irresponsible schoolboys who are competing to see who can get away with being the more outrageous.

But how can he blatantly refuse to answer the question of how he will evade the law? Why is he not forced to explain this? Every question he is asked, he just replied with his sound bite about the 20,000 police (which is actually just replacing the ones which were previously cut) Confused. It’s truly bizarre.

Why should he tell his opponents what he is planing to do so they can then bind his hands yet again? What really pisses me off is all the piety about stopping a no withdrawal agreement Brexit, when what the remainer MPs really want is to revoke, but apart from the Lib Dems, they don't have the balls to say so, and have a GE on that basis.
