So I have had IBS in varying degrees for a number of years but in the lat two years in particular it has been terrible. Have also been diagnosed with SIBO.
I pretty much constantly look preggo due to the constant bloating.
Pretty much anything I eat makes my upper abdomen feel like it will burst.
Constantly dashing to the loo and knackered all the time.
I don't drink alcohol, have cut down on spicy food (I love curry 😔) and hardly have any caffeine, all because of my guts. It freaking SUCKS!
Anyway, today GP has recommended Kefir. I am happy to try anything and indeed have tried lots of other things.
AIBU to hold on to the hope that Kefir May just change my life?! Can anyone tell me more about it? Has it helped anyone? How often do you take it?
If not Kefir, what next? Determined to beat this sucker (or a least get on top of it better).
