Name change.

I'm looking for advice and reassurance really. My partner is on a stag do abroad and I feel so anxious. Just to clarify, I am not worried he will cheat and we have a good relationship. Does anyone else feel a bit like this when their partner is away and drunk? Any advice? He's been drinking all day and is sending me texts that don't make sense and I just worry 😔 they will probably end up at a strip club later..

Just feel like shit. Anyone??

Xx

Put on the telly, pour yourself a glass of wine (if you drink), or phone a friend, have a bath....Whatever you like doing. He's probably just having (harmless) fun.

You can’t panic every time he leaves the house. If I thought my partner was doing this I’d feel trapped.

Years ago my DH was on a drunken Stag weekend in Prague.
While he was away I did a pregnancy test and found out I was pregnant for the first time. That was weird, getting his drunken texts.
He came home saying they did go to a strip club but after a while it got quite dull 😂. They generally had a bit of a laugh and were relieved to get home because they were all knackered.

I actually enjoyed my own company. Treated myself to a whole tub of ice cream and watched films he didn't like.

It will be fine OP.

Thank you @LiveRightNow .

@StillCoughingandLaughing I don't panic everytime he leaves the house. We've just come through the other side of an abortion and he's been drinking since 5am with a rowdy bunch of men. I just feel a bit down.

So sorry @reassureme7600. You must be pretty upset and vulnerable right now.
Do you have any good friends that can come round and keep you company just now ?
