To ask your hangover cures?

I am generally awful with a hangover and need at least 24 hours on the couch stuffing my face to recover. I stopped going out in the week years ago for this very reason.

Last night I broke my own rule, I have 3 1/2 hours of work left and I am STRUGGLING.

I've had a fry up, a little walk (to the caf), coffee, water, diet coke, fruit and sugary treats and I just. can't. stay. awake.

A big self inflicted help

All the carbs & cola (the real stuff not diet!)

Ultimately the only cure is sleep....

Toast and marmite (to replace the Vit b destroyed by alcohol). Washed down with a gallon of tea. Always works for me.

JorisBonson · 03/10/2019 12:27

@P1nkHeartLovesCake that's all I want. I'd give my left ear for a dressing gown and a nap.

McDonald’s and full fat coke, only thing that will really help is sleep though.

Beer

acrylicaddict · 03/10/2019 12:40

REDBULL

A banana milkshake to replace your potassium and calcium and two paracetamol. I remember that off some tv doctor but I don't know if it works because I don't like banana milkshakes.

caperplips · 03/10/2019 12:46

McDonalds with real coke.
Then something sweet. Then crisps. All ingested whilst lying in bed or on a sofa watching shite like come dine with me

Work + hangover = hell

Dioralyte sachet.....beige fatty food and sleep

katkit · 03/10/2019 12:49

oral rehydration salts- one or two on the night, and the next day, with lots of water.

JorisBonson · 03/10/2019 12:54

I've sourced a tuna melt panini, crisps and fizzy. I will think fondly of sleep for now

Another one for dioralyte sachets and/or Berocca. But yeah, carbs, fluids, and paracetamol
