Warning - I frequent the Pedant's corner
I hear a lot about people 'wasting water'. Yesterday there was talk about people running a tap to hide "toilet noises". HOWEVER... you cannot waste water. There is a finite amount of water on the planet and it just get recycled over and over again. (Unless they took some to the moon. Did they take some to the moon and leave it there? Does anyone know?) So we are, technically, drinking dinosaurs wee. I assume they aren't actually talking about wasting water, but the resources to clean, filter, heat, pump it? So why not talk about wasting energy, why water?
