Dd seems fascinated watching these videos on YouTube kids, the kids sound English but the mum sounds American or some weird twang, what's going on there?

I've just watched a clip and the mum sounds Northern (assuming it was the mum who was speaking to them from behind the camera?) Leeds / Wakefield type area maybe?

They’re from warrington 😂 the mum puts some weird ‘phone’ voice on. They all use americanisms, presumably trying to be like the bug American vloggers, and speak like weird American vloggers. But they’re Nothern!

I wonder how much they have made from the videos, my daughters are obsessed with them!

Definitely Warrington, but you’re right the mum does have a weird American twang! She also refers to the price of things in dollars. I assumed she was just trying to appeal to an American audience!

I was fed up hearing their voices but they seem not to be appearing in the recommended vids recently!

Pretty sure they’ve always lived in the UK, they just holiday in Florida a lot (apparently they have Disney annual passes!).
Just realised I have absorbed far too much of this nonsense from my 6 year old watching it .

Ugh, now I know they definitely aren't American, the mums voice irritates me so much! Dd likes the video of them playing at mcdonalds dressed as Minnie and Maleficent, I am going to hide the ipad because it's too annoying!

Her voice does grate a bit I wonder if they have made a lot of money doing the videos?

I'm not sure. The house etc doesn't look amazing from what I can see, but who knows?

Jesus this lot are annoying- my DDs also love their videos. Me and DH often speculate on the parentage of the girls as the elder one looks nothing like the other two: you can see we’ve watched way too much of it to even be thinking about this!

Haha no she doesn't does she! And they are so annoying, it's all very fake.

My DD is obsessed and I am far too invested in wanting to know the family's back story. The Dad has started to get involved in the videos now and it makes me what to throw things at the TV.

Dd has only watched the ones on YouTube kids, I've just looked in their YouTube channel and I think the dad is ok! The kids do seem genuinely happy, but the mum needs to tone that accent down!
