Should I call 111?!

Posting here for traffic, my dd 10 months has eaten a tiny stone think pea size. She picked up two I got one out but she’d swallowed one I think. She cried and retched a bit but now seems fine.

What would you do? Do you think it will just pass through? Sad

First time mum worries

Ring them just for reassurance

Always phone 111 if you're worried, if they don't think its anything they will tell you its fine.

ThinkerThunkk · 30/09/2019 16:08

It will pass though

Sherloidbaisherloid · 30/09/2019 16:51

Ring for peace of mind but I’m sure it will be fine. My son swallowed a hungry hippos marble when he was little and I was told there was no way it could get stuck and to be on poo watch for it coming out the other end. Sure enough a few days later in his poo was a little bright yellow ball!

I seemed to have a fascination with eating pebbles when I was little (2or3yrs old). I can actually remember sitting on the path, popping on into my mouth.

I assume they all came out, and I think I turned out relatively ok ;-)

Don’t worry OP call them as that’s why they’re there, better to call for advice or reassurance than to call 999 and block up the lines.

Good for you for seeking advice OP - always best to find out.

Thanks all! I called them and they’ve said it will pass through. It was only tiny but I was worried :/ x

Excellent news! It's always better to be safe and accidents do happen!
