To be annoyed at having to pay 45 extra per ticket to change the date 30 mins later?’b

Mainly annoyed at myself for making such a stupid mistake. Booked a Euro star ticket only to realise the outgoing ticket is booked on wrong date by one day. I realised this after seeing the confirmation email like 30 minutes later. I couldn’t believe it. I could have sworn that I booked the correct date.

Aibu to think they should give us at least 24 hours to change the date free of charge?? It’s for two tickets and changing it cost me 45 per ticket. Feeling so upset with myself. Blaming it on pregnancy brain - 7 months and been on my feet all day so exhausted etc. Should just go to bed. But needed to vent. It dh knew what a stupid mistake I made he would be so mad!

Anyone else make such an annoying silly mistake before? Feel so bad. But I’m sure nothing a good night sleep can’t cure 😀

Actually, I think it was only 30 gbp to change the ticket and the extra cost was bc ticket slightly more expensive for the other date. I feel less bad now. But still wish I didn’t make such a silly mistake !

I hope your DH isn't usually mad when mistakes happen. Are you mad if he makes mistakes?

Yep. I've done similar and had to pay - cost almost as much as for an extra person!

Also a colleague booked a weekend for four colleagues. We could only go for one night (we were a whole work team so couldn't all be off together) but she booked two nights. Fortunately she was able to change it with no cost.

I think there should be a time limit but i guess everywhere has their different rules. I know with flights for example certain airlines give you 24 hrs to cancel if you change your mind or make an error. Know it must be annoying, we all make mistakes so dont be too hard on yourself
