To ask if anyone works on DBS checks. Made a mistake on dds, will it be okay?

Dd changed her surname as soon as she turned 16 and legally could do her own.
We updated everyone.
Dd recently decided to change her first name legally to a shortened version she prefers (think Bethany to Beth)

Again updated everyone.

We informed everyone we could think of.
Her passport has changed, bank, college and all that type of thing.

She completed her DBS application and has stated her current name, her birth name and other first name used (Bethany)

Only when I was tracking it I realised she had given her NI insurance number and I have just realised we haven't updated it to Beth from Bethany.

Will that cause problems?
We have declared the name.

I could update it now with HMRC and I will but the DBS application is already in process.

My full name is, say, 'Kayleigh', but I use 'Kay' for day-to-day. I have regularly signed up as 'Kay' with employers using my NI number and have not had any trouble. As long as you've put both names on the form I imagine it would be fine. Will it cause a problem if the DBS is delayed? I'd contact them and ask if so.

No it is absolutely fine if it is delayed. We do not need it desperately. It is for college and she doesn't need it until after Christmas, they were just getting them in place.

Other names used Bethany until 2019

Completely thought we had changed everything then just realised we had missed this.

I think it will be fine.

Just keep an eye on it. Imagine it will be fine.

More than likely but even if not, my DBS arrived in less than a week, so just re-do it.
