That horrible fake floral smell they all have! Aussie Mega doesn't smell too bad but leaves my hair fluffy.

Klorane chamomile smells lovely but its impossible to get near me plus ££££

Loreal elvive doesnt smell floral

Foslady · 27/09/2019 13:07

I now use a micellar water one from the £shop with no smell followed by their bamboo conditioner - hair is better than it has been in years!

What scent do you like? Cantu smells delicious, but you might hate it.

CrumpleHornedSnowcack · 27/09/2019 13:11

love the OGX coconut shampoo but they do a range of others as well

MindyStClaire · 27/09/2019 13:13

Did you try the Aussie Shine one?

BBBear · 27/09/2019 13:17

I've been using L'Oreal clay shampoo - I originally got it for my DDs oily teenage hair, but started using it myself - I really like it.

Singlebutmarried · 27/09/2019 13:22

I use this and the conditioner.

I’ve got thick unruly hair and this leaves is soft and easy to manage.

Aussie also made my head flaky. This doesn’t.

I love the clay shampoo too, not always cheap but suits my hair and smells nice.

Loopytiles · 27/09/2019 13:26

Superdrug own brands, some good ones and not tested on animals.

Beesandcheese · 27/09/2019 13:27

Stop using shampoo, it does make the hair fluffy and bushy. Just use conditioner.

Greyhound22 · 27/09/2019 13:27

Matrix - but you're looking at about £7 a bottle online.

Greyhound22 · 27/09/2019 13:28

Sorry just saw you said high street.

I rate the Lee Stafford ones - they can smell a bit sweet but not flowery.

Serenity45 · 27/09/2019 13:30

Another vote for Aussie Shine (Aussie Moist also good). I've got fine hair with fluffy tendencies and my hairdresser recommended these as alternatives to Redken Clear Moisture as I was trying to reduce outgoings.

Have to say since using it I haven't really noticed any negative difference compared to the expensive stuff!

lastqueenofscotland · 27/09/2019 13:41

I use OGX ginger which is really nice and not too smelly at all

JangledBat · 27/09/2019 13:42

Simple. It doesn't smell of anything

from123toabc · 27/09/2019 13:43

body shop ginger shampoo is the best i've ever used.

Scarlett555 · 27/09/2019 13:49

Aussie is definitely the best. Mega makes my hair fluffy too but the one for coloured hair and miracle moist are good.

DontCallMeShitley · 27/09/2019 13:52

I also hate the smell of most shampoos, I don't want my hair to smell like Femfresh or fly spray, the one in the tube for blonde hair is especially foul in that respect, used to be the best shampoo available until about 2005 when they ruined it forever.

I use Mane and Tail, mainly because it doesn't smell like a cheap brothel, and because I like lemon I use Avalon Organics lemon which I can get in Waitrose and health shops or online from Holland & Barrett.

I agree with the ogx ones they are very good. @beesandcheese, how on earth do you get your hair clean if you don't use shampoo?

Beesandcheese · 27/09/2019 14:04

By washing it. With conditioner.

NKFell · 27/09/2019 14:06

I like Faith in Nature, I buy it from Amazon in a shampoo and conditioner bundle for around £7. The Grapefruit is my favourite.

BellaBellaBelle · 27/09/2019 14:14

Body shop green tea shampoo is nice.

Alexandrite · 27/09/2019 14:19

This is lovely

Washing with conditioner is no use if you work in a dirty environment. My hair gets so greasy at work that I need shampoo.

dollydaydream114 · 27/09/2019 15:28

I really like Love, Beauty & Planet which is stocked in my local Boots.

They are really good quality and smell lovely, not floral or sickly (I use the one for oily hair which is rosemary and vetiver and it smells fantastic). I think it's about £7 a bottle, but the bottle is twice the size of the Klorane one at the same price.
