To take my 10 year old to see Saturday night fever the musical?

I bought tickets to see Saturday Night Fever the musical for my mums birthday. She sadly can’t go now as my Dad is unwell. I have a 10 year daughter but not sure if it is suitable. The theatre tell me there is no age restrictions. Anyone seen that can advise me?

I saw it a few years ago with my (18yr old) dd.
I don't think it is suitable for a 10 yr old, from what I remember.
I know the film was an 18.

Call the theatre and check with staff.

I called them and they just said it was my decision and there was no age restriction.

Reviews online suggest that it's not for kids even though it's considerably more toned down than the movie, there's still a rape scene, and some suggest it's at least a 12.

I’ve seen it and think my ten year old would be ok. I’d talk about the rape scene in advance though.

I think 10 is too young.

Have you seen the film? Some great tunes but It's pretty gritty stuff - I wouldn't take a 10 year old.

Ok thanks all. Will not take her then as sounds a bit too heavy
