I have woken up with red spots/ rash on my stomach and a large red mark on my back. They don't disappear under glass.

I feel fine in myself - is this something to be worried about? Allergic reaction to something?

Are you absolutely sure they don't blanch under a glass? Because if they don't I would be seriously concerned.

I would check it out just for peace of mind, especially if it fails the glass test. Maybe ring your out of hours gp or something and ask for some advice..... Although I would imagine you'd be asked to attend your local A&E

Should any other rash disappear under glass?

My concern re: rash is sepsis but you would not be feeling fine under those circumstances.

Can you ring 111 asap please.

KingaRoo · 27/09/2019 06:24

How are you OP?

ViaSacra · 27/09/2019 07:45

Hope you rang 111 x

Hi thanks everyone! The rash is still there but I feel absolutely fine. I'm sure it must be something else.

I had this on my arm the other day. A spotted red rash that did not disappear under a glass, but I felt absolutely fine. I informed my boss (who agreed) that if I began to feel unwell I would need to go to A&E. However, after 6 or 7 hours the rash began to disappear and after a day it was gone.

Keep a very close eye on the rash OP and if you start to feel unwell, have a temperature or any other symptoms please seek medical advice. I hope you're okay Flowers

Thanks acrylic - did you ever work out what caused it?
