To ask what this medical problem could be?

My friend is abroad at the moment and having a weird experience, doesn’t know if/how to see a dr so I thought I’d ask on here.

He said he keeps getting really stressed possibly having panic attacks but when it happens he starts thinking he’s going to be sick and spitting or drooling down himself. It’s been happening through the night but sometimes in the day.

He gets pains all over, shaking, palpitations and his head spins but then is fine again. He’s been breathing through it as if anxiety and it does pass but I’m quite worried it’s something serious. It must be awful for him.

He’s reluctant to go to a dr because he said he doesn’t really know how to describe it and being abroad makes it more difficult.

Has anyone had or heard of something similar? Any advice on what he could try or how he could describe it to someone?

Sounds like the panic attacks I get when I get a vestibular migraine. Probably a good idea to find an English doctor out there 👍

How old is he?

Sounds like it could be an anxiety attack or perhaps his heart. He needs an ecg to see if his heart rhythm is okay, in the first instance. Bloods as well. I'd say he needs to see a doctor and get him to describe in none too complicated terms. Take someone to translate if possible.

I would be really worried that there is something wrong with his heart. Could be arrhythmia. He really needs to see a doctor!
