To ask for best range cooker recommendations

Posted here for traffic as need to make a decision soon to get it delivered for Christmas but we’re looking for a range cooker.

Looking for one with at least two decent ovens and auto ignition rather than a separate button. That’s pretty much it.

Any good makes or ones to avoid?

Budget is up to £1800

Yes YABU re "posting for traffic"....there's no AIBU question in your thread.

www.mumsnet.com/Talk/property - 24 topics on there have replies and postings from today. Isn't that enough traffic?

Back on topic....Rangemaster Profesional Plus is hard to fault, we've found it covers all our needs

YABU but stoves

it's a PITA to get one that is all gas I can tell you! Almost every oven listed as gas has electric ovens.

We ended up with a Delonghi DTR906G as I don't really have the space for anything longer and need LPG. Was quite wary of getting it online without seeing it and peeved that the misers only give you a single shelf for each oven...although oddly they give you a grill pan/grillshelf for each oven.

BUT am very pleased with it, it weighed an absolute ton and feels great, my last range was a proper range, a Stanley Superstar so am really used to heavy heavy !!

We have a Rangemaster Elise. It’s great.

I've got a Falcon, it's an incredible cooker.

Sorry but didn’t know that property thread was about appliances just presumed it was about diy and buying and selling etc and couldn’t find an appliance thread, don’t know this forum like the back of my hand I’m afraid.

If admin can move my thread then by all means.

We have looked at Stoves and Rangemasters so at least we are barking up the right tree.

We have a Falcon that we're very happy with. Great improvement on the Lacanche that we had previously, (which looked beautiful but everything that could conceivably go wrong with it, did).
