Comfortable non wire bras for big boobs?

FFSFFSFFS · 24/09/2019 19:42

Help! Someone posted a link on mumsnet a while ago and i didn't save the link.

It was for comfy non wire bras - a small business started from home I think. Photos were of lots of normal bods with stretch marks ahoy.

If someone knows the link can they please post it - or other recommendations for comfy but effective non wire bras please help.

Thanks!

Which Asda ones are you all looking at?

Pinkstump · 25/09/2019 07:21

I find Elomi Caitlyn non-wired to be the only ones that are well made enough to be properly comfortable and supportive for my 40ff boobs. I bought some off ebay brand new a while ago for less than £20 each.
I do have a couple of cheaper bras which are ok, but the sides tend to roll/bunch up after a while.

This is the Asda one I have

I'm 32GG and the m&s ones I mentioned upthread keep me contained and supported enough all day. They seem to not give too much 'monoboob' either.
Honestly I've never really rated m&s bras but for £20 these are honestly better than some of the expensive branded wired ones I own!

SweetNorthernRose · 25/09/2019 10:11

The other thing I like about the m&s ones is the fact that they have a proper bra fastening at the back, which is where the majority of support in a bra actually comes from.
I promise I don't work for m&s, I'm just so happy to have found a decent bra in my size that I don't have to remortgage my house for! Grin

Oh I can't wait to try all these suggestions - heading to M&S asap.

I keep looking at Doreen bras, but can't summon up the courage to try one. I suppose my vanity is stronger than my desire for comfort.

Plump82 · 26/09/2019 15:24

Royce do brilliant non wired bras. You can pick them up cheap (and new) on eBay.

StormOfSekhmet · 26/09/2019 15:25

I'm 36dd, and I love Triumph Doreen bras. They are so comfortable.

Bravissimo understand the big boobed girl. "Lingerie, swimwear and clothes for women who are a D-L cup. Inspiring big boobed women to feel amazing! Browse our D+ bras, bikinis and swimsuits."

My Bravissimo LBD makes me feel a million dollars

Really good advice for proper fitting.

dont doreen bras make you really pointy?

Ounce · 26/09/2019 17:19

Jesus, those Molke bras are absolutely revolting.

EdersonsSmileyTattoo · 26/09/2019 17:55

I’m a 32E and the M&S Flexifit is by far the best fitting and most comfortable bra I’ve ever worn!

Lemoneeza · 26/09/2019 17:59

love Doreen for comfort but they are best described as pointy. I wouldn't wear one out of the house unless it was to a 50s fancy dress

LizzyDarcy1 · 26/09/2019 18:04

I love Molke bras. I'm a 34JJ and they give great support. Definitely enough for everyday wear, especially if you buy one with a '3' fabric rating (firmest support).

ContinuityError · 26/09/2019 18:22

I’d recommend the Royce Maisie bra - it’s really comfy.

Shebertherbert · 26/09/2019 18:33

I have never heard of Molke. I am not convinced these would give me enough support. They don't look very supportive on the larger models.

I have worn Doreen bras in the past. They looked like traffic cones. I think they were very comfy at a time I was struggling to find a decent fit at all. I wouldn't wear one now.

Branleuse · 26/09/2019 19:35

Molke have a great returns policy and they hold their value to resell extremely well if thats any help

WoollyFoolly · 17/10/2019 09:07

Coming back to this to say I've got some of the M&S fuller bust bralettes now and they are amazing! So soft and comfortable and don't even give you a mono boob!
