To have a bit of a girl crush on Lady Hale

I’m completely straight but completely admiring Lady Hale. Strong, intelligent woman at the peak of her profession.

And she looks so put together and sophisticated.

I agree - women who are intelligent, confident (not pompous) and concerned for others are my favourite kind of people.

She rules. The BBC did a really good documentary about the Supreme Court a couple of years ago, in which she featured heavily. Might be on iPlayer?

She also has great brooch style. There was a tweet noting that she'd been wearing insect brooches during the hearing, culminating in today's huge spider, and wondering whether it was a commentary on 'what a tangled web' 🕸. Rather similar to the readings of the Queen's jewellery and clothes.

I think she is fab!
