AIBU to think that the family on ITV's A Confession don't seem particularly distressed by the kidnap and murder of their Sian? What an odd programme. Generally very wooden acting in my opinion

Had this exact convo with my mum the other day. Becky's mother's reaction would be more than what I imagine, she was very good. That being said, people respond to grief differently 🤷🏼‍♀️

Becky’s mother was incredible! Gave me goosebumps.

I think she is simply in shock. You can tell that by the way she responds to things and the trivial things she says.

I think they’re highlighting the juxtaposition between the two families and the difference in how they grieve. I thinks it been done very well. Sian’s mums husbands a bit of an insensitive prick though.

What was sians mums husband whispering about with the family saying they won't be time or something, just before sians sister announced she was outside in the hearse?
I was watching on my tablet and didn't have subtitles and couldn't make out what he was saying

There isn’t one way to grieve. Not everybody is a crier.

I thought Sian's mum showed the other side to grief very well. She's numb, shutting down emotionally, completely believable in my opinion.

She looks in shock to me and also trying to hold it together as she has her younger son

I think it’s excellent. I like the way they are showing that the severity of the crime and the hurt and pain to Becky’s family, is not somehow less just because of her lifestyle.

Brandnewshitim fairly sure they were wanting to do a reading of a poem at the funeral and control freak partner said there was no time basically
