Not computer/ipad games. asking for work reasons, I need reward time ideas that would work for one adult (who is willing to act like a child) and one child.

Child is lovely but doesn't really know how to just play and I'm running out of ideas.

Lego
Magnetix
Colouring
Marble run
Playdoh / Slime

Are all very successful 1-1 activities for our year 2s in a school.

Bike ride,
Jigsaws,
Crafts ( I hate this but my 6 year old loves a "let's create a...."project),
Read chapter story together,
Make cakes
K'nex/ lego/ magformers
Scratch art
Aquabeads
Most of those need help / are to do together but he can do lego, Knex etc and some crafts on his own.

LEGO of all types. My ds loves drawing comics and pictures. I get the huge roll of paper from IKEA or the craft shop and roll it out along the floor. We draw an aquarium or dragons or battles. Nerff gums but that depends on your view of guns as toys. Dominos, he makes patterns. Matching cards, snap, go fish etc. play shop with old plastic cards and money we printed off the internet and cut up.

thanks all, there are some nice ideas here. My DC used to tell me what they wanted to do, this having to actually think up ideas is exhausting!
