To not chase after the company trying to pay them

We had our floor sanded and resealed in early August. The company did a good job apart from one minor issue which they came to view and discuss with us. We agreed it was a light bleaching issue as the floorboards are original. So all fine.

Fast forward 7 weeks and we still haven't received an invoice for the work (which they said they would send on completion). I am considering ringing them but DH says to leave it and they will send it eventually.

You owe the money so I would chase up so not hanging over me.

I wouldn't be able to stand it hanging over me or them overlooking and invoicing years later when you might be in a diff financial position but I've always been too honest for my own good 😕
