Advice for staying sane while separating

I'll give you a few examples of why we are the road to ruin in our nearly 8 year long marriage...
I married a divorced man. Became a step-Mum to 2 boys and we then had a son. Life was good and then he became more distant and less communicative. I do the usual 'how was your day' questions, and got a one-word answer...sometimes I'd ask more, 'stop asking me probing questions' was his response. 'you're such a jealous woman'....
He moved to a different bedroom months ago, no real reason why. I felt it was clear rejection
He spends huge amounts of time with his own sports & social clubs. I'm at home looking after our young child. He rarely spends time with him and did absolutely nothing with us as a family over the entire summer
And then there's the house deeds. House was in his name, bought one year before we met. He flatly refused to put me on the deeds despite my massive financial investment. Got quite argumentative and unpleasant each time I mentioned it.
Citizen's Advice told me to get my name as an 'interest' which I have now done. He wasn't impressed
He has now moved out for what he says is a few weeks. He doesn't acknowledge me when we meet, just our son. Basic courtesy has never been his strong point. Personally, I think he is a bully, being verbally aggressive and throwing insults whenever possible. How to stay strong through all of this and the uncertainties are huge.

We are now starting 'mediation', as per the advice from solicitors but the process seems so lengthy. I'm very anxious about joint mediation, although my husband will be charming in the presence of another woman, he is being nasty, manipulative and angry to me
Advice please? He has accused me of having a mental illness, being a crap parent and his favourite- I'm too indecisive!
