Don’t get me wrong- they seem like a loving, happy family & my DD loves the programme. Matilda is very sweet!

But fuck me it’s nepotism central- the latest one we were watching, the boy get a DJ gig in Hollywood & generally it’s a stream of famous people & crazy experiences in one of their many mansions worldwide. And I am sure the only reason the programme is on TV is because of a ‘who you know’ scenario. The one the other day was them flying by private jet to a villa in Sardinia.

Aibu to find it irritating? Most people’s lives just aren’t anywhere near theirs - I dunno- it just feels a bit ‘much’...

Maybe I am just jealous of their insane life WinkGrin

Agree with all of what you posted.

However, it’s actually not a bad programme, my dc really like it. But yes, not one person would be interested in the lovely Matilda were it not for who her father was (who I think must be contracted to appear in a guaranteed x amount of mins per episode on a condition of her getting the show).

I agree. No one would be interested in watching my teenagers chucking some chicken nuggets and vege burgers in the oven and leaving the dishes everywhere
Matilda seems very sweet though, all the family seems nice.

Agreed. And like lots of famous people's offspring, they have zero concept that their "fame" is purely and only through their dad.
