When he's dead I'll regret getting annoyed about Wispa golds right?

OP posts:
DitheringBlidiot · 21/09/2019 07:59

Would he do the same for you?

madcatladyforever · 21/09/2019 08:03

I'm happy to make that mess myself but I'm not happy to pick up after other people. Tell him to put his rubbish on the side table.
Wisp a gold is horrible.

NabooThatsWho · 21/09/2019 08:03

Are you his cleaner?

OwlinaTree · 21/09/2019 08:05

Christ that's nothing. My DH side of the bed is ankle deep in paper work and discarded clothing. Every so often he gets a bin bag and tidies it up. He's tidy in the rest of the house!

Hederex · 21/09/2019 08:05

I do this except I put them on the windowsill by the bed and they drop under it. Confused

It drives my DH mad.

In other respects I'm very tidy.

Bugger, I'm going to have to stop now.

On another note, Wispa Gold is glorious.

MarthasGinYard · 21/09/2019 08:05

Eeeeuuuu

Who is the litter bug?

Peony99 · 21/09/2019 08:05

Yuk. No.

You might not care about wispa golds when he's dead, but you will still know that he was thoughtless and disrespectful.

lifecouldbeadream · 21/09/2019 08:06

Put them in his bed

hazell42 · 21/09/2019 08:08

Unless he is likely to be dead very very soon, dont pick up after him.
Because while you may be a long time dead, life can also seem pretty darned long when spent picking up after other people.
Point out the mess and tell him to pick his shit up

Whatevskev · 21/09/2019 08:08

He ate THREE wispas in one sitting?

Fralla · 21/09/2019 08:19

What kind of adult leaves rubbish on the floor like that!?!?!?

combatbarbie · 21/09/2019 08:25

Nope.... Id hoover round it and see how long it stays there for.

Bezalelle · 21/09/2019 08:30

Why couldn't he just put them on the bedside table? Lazy 'aporth!

Myriade · 21/09/2019 08:42

I am having a similar situation with my .
The difference is that he is 16yo, not 30 or whatever old your DH is. AND he knows very well it’s not on so usually tries to conceal it somewhere I won’t see from the entrance of his bedroom Grin.

The point I am going in about always is that his bedroom floor is NOT a bin. Does he want to live in a bin etc....
If my DH was doing that, I would be very angry.

KUGA · 21/09/2019 08:44

Agree with lifecouldbeadream.
Good call.

Tilltheendoftheline · 21/09/2019 08:44

If it was one wrapper and was usually very tidy, I would just pick it up. A stray wrapper can often fall off the sofa arm.

But 3? That just feels disrespectful. Like he just doesnr think he needs ti brother picking them up.

ipswichwitch · 21/09/2019 08:45

Put them under his pillow or in his sock drawer

C0untDucku1a · 21/09/2019 08:45

Do what i do with teens in my class. Put their rubbish back in their blazer pockets when they're on the backs of their chairs.

wizzbitfartface · 21/09/2019 09:02

My husband frequently does this down side of his chair of an evening, goes to bed and leaves it there. I would normally pick it up in morning, I got so fed up that I stopped picking it up and he came home from work and said "did you not have time for housework today?" my response was "did you not have time to put it in the bin yourself before bed?" led to a row about how he's so busy with work that he can't be expected to do ALL the housework himself. I laughed at his over dramatics, pointed out picking up after himself isn't ALL the housework, it isn't any kind of housework at all and that he'd tell the kids off if they left their rubbish laying around on floor so shut up, pick up and set a good example. Seems to have done the trick

wizzler · 21/09/2019 09:05

Do you mean you are planning to kill him for it?Smile

123space · 21/09/2019 13:15

@wizzbitfartface Shock he was purposely dumping rubbish with the expectation you would pick it up?! Holy shit
