About OH's work pattern

OH is a part time domiciliary carer, supposed to work 4pm to 10pm, weekday evenings. I am a part time cleaner, week day evenings and also make fine art mosaics and teach mosaic courses. I'm self employed for the mosaic stuff. OH also does some randomly scheduled holiday let cleaning. We have a dog so two dog walks a day, and my elderly mil lives with us- we get her shopping and clean her rooms, do her washing. We do not need big incomes cos no mortgage. We live in a lovely place and are supposed to be having a more relaxed lifestyle since moving here 2 yes ago. I'm 62, OH 57. So- OH has a bit of a track record for being a workaholic. It is starting again, as I knew it would, she takes up extra hours whenever asked and is now working every day of the week more or less. I hate it. I hate looking forward to a weekend off together only for it to be snatched away at the last minute. I get really fed up. OH is always offering to cover extra shifts for people going off sick, other sudden emergencies. She never says no. AIBU to think that if we have time together planned she should say no to working sudden extra shifts?

Yanbu, have you told oh you expect plans to be kept?

Does she struggle to say no, or do you think she wants the extra money?

Have you asked OH why does she takes the extra shifts?
